It’s encouraging to see real initiatives taking place on coastlines that haven’t been heavily damaged, helping to preserve marine life and address nature and climate challenges. This year Rebecca Wilson interviewed Leonie Miskin-Brooks who is studying Natural and Environmental Sciences at Newcastle University which included a year in Australia. Rebecca was so impressed she has nominated her as her ‘Star of the Month’ for her work.
