We were delighted to welcome the team back to help with bracken bashing to help us conserve one of England’s largest Scheduled Monuments.

Our staff had an incredible time getting stuck into the bracken bashing. We were treated with excellent weather for it, and it was fascinating to learn about the area’s rich archaeological history along the way. After working up a sweat, a refreshing cool-down in the river was the perfect way to wrap up the day.
This ongoing collaboration means a great deal to us, and we loved returning to help after our tree-guard removal session last year.
Volunteering in Northumberland National Park allows us to focus on what matters:
Giving Back & Learning: It was a fantastic opportunity for our team to learn more about the rich archaeology of the national park whilst making a tangible, hands-on difference.
