Spring has returned to Ingram Valley, but the Cheviot Hills are still as chilly as ever. Our brand-new Ingram Valley neck gaiters will keep you warm on our Ingram Valley Safaris, doubling as a stylish keepsake…
As Spring returns, we celebrate the reappearance of our oystercatchers as they return to the farm from the Northumberland coast. Curlew calls can be heard from their nests high in the hills, and we prepare for a new cohort of lambs and calves on our renowned Ingram Valley Safari.
Northumberland is well-known for its gorgeous countryside and beautiful coastline. Our farm, nestled along the Breamish Valley, displays the very best that Northumberland has to offer. Our Ingram Valley Safari is a brilliant way to explore the Northumberland countryside. You can witness an abundance of wildlife while learning about the historical area.
Dressing Appropriately for Ingram Valley Safaris:
Although we are not located near the coast, gratefully escaping the blistering cold of the North Sea, it can still get very windy up in the Cheviot Hills. We always urge our visitors to dress appropriately for the weather. If the sun is out and shining, we emphasise precautionary measures such as sunhats or sunglasses to protect yourself against UV rays. On our Safaris we offer Ingram Valley sun caps and trendy sunglasses, so you can Safari in style.
Similarly, if you plan to venture out into the hills on our Safari in windy or wet weather, we suggest that you bring a coat or borrow one of our Ingram Valley dryrobes! Our brand-new Ingram Valley gaiters are perfect for keeping your neck warm in cold weather. The gaiters are worn around your neck, like a scarf, but can also be pulled up over your nose. However you wish to style your neck gaiter, it’s the ideal accessory to keep you warm on our Safari.

Neck gaiters, similar to bandanas, have been a fashionable statement for many years. Though they are mainly worn for practical purposes, by walkers or expeditioners, they can come in many unique colours and patterns. Our Ingram Valley gaiters are unique and comfortable, complimenting earthy tones and walking gear. They will keep your neck, ears, nose and face nice and cosy.
We don’t just want you to use them on our Safaris, make use of your neck gaiter all across Northumberland and the rest of the UK. Please send us any photos of you wearing your Ingram Valley merchandise- we love to see it!
